Have you ever seen a child light up when he gets a chance to play beautiful music? I sure have, and it’s wonderful!
As a professional pianist, private piano instructor, and previous Director of Music for a Montessori Preschool, I have spent many years sharing my passion for music with children. Along the way, I have developed and taught a very unique and successful early childhood music program.
World of Harmony Music is a music program like no other. I have set lyrics to dozens of pieces of classical music, words which teach students the title of the music, the composer, and fun facts about the composer and his music. I then created sheet music with these lyrics for a beautiful little 15-stringed instrument

called a zither or lap harp, made by Appalachian Spirit Folk Instruments, Music Maker, Melody Harp, T.K. O'Brien's, and Small World Toys. (Please note that these sheets may not work with other zither brands, and definitely do NOT work with First Act or Hape Happy harps, as the size or tuning may be different. You could trim the edges of my books to fit First Act and Hape Happy Harps, but you may lose a couple of beginning or ending notes. If so, you could fill those in by hand on your cut sheets. Music Makers will often have the word "Nepenenoyka" on them.

All you do is slip the sheet music underneath the strings of the zither, and you simply pluck the string over each note on the sheet! Anyone can immediately play beautiful music, regardless of musical training or natural ability. It just couldn’t be easier! I’ve watched “children” ages 3 to 90+ enjoy playing this music, as it’s so much fun for everyone! The parents watching my classes have always enjoyed learning so much about music along with their children! I've also included various kinds of music from the diverse cultures of our world, making it easy to learn about our world's languages, cultures, and holidays through music!
For many years, people have asked me to make this curriculum available to purchase separately from my classes. Finally, the time has come! Whether you’d like this music for your own enjoyment and education, you’d like to teach children of your own, or you’d like to teach your own classes to students of any age, this program will make that goal so easy and so much fun!
Each classical music sheet has the music notes and my educational lyrics on one side of the sheet, and a “flip side” on the other. The “flip side” presents many fun and interesting facts about the composer and his music, making the lesson easy to learn, and easy to teach! The books are comb-bound into easy-to-use music books. You just flip to the music you'd like to play, and place the whole book under the strings of the zither. Pluck the strings in the order shown on the sheet music, and immediately play the world's most beautiful music!

This is for Fall / Winter only! Zithers and other books sold separately. For use with a Melody Harp, you'll simply need to tune the F strings on the Melody Harp to F sharp. There is a tuning guide in the back of each book.
